The studio is tilled with an air of expectation as everyone eagerly awaits the beginning of production, Every technician on the set is an expert in his own field and has put in countlesswhours of backbreaking work. Many problems in castuming, lighting, and camera work had to be ironed out by these technicians before filming could begin. Nowyeach one has a feeling ofilpride as the cameras begin to roll, and he knows that he has done his iob well. e ig Assis1'ing::Sierra in its Great Production are the many on-campus clubs and organiiationslllust as movie technicians are expertsyin their fieldsfso are our faculty advisors knowledgeable in the subject matter 'of their club. Under their guidance, thesetclubs offer ailvariety of diversified material which supplements the regular curriculum. The eliinax of the fereinony fame when Nancy Carley wa! frowned Queen. In keeping with tradition, Boys' Athletiey Chairman, Fred Weftherg prefented Queen Nancy with a dozen red, long-Jtemmed refer and a him, while the audienfe .faluted the Queen and her ronrt with a .rtanding ovation. HAPPINESS IS A FOOTBALL GAME . . . 8:00 P.M. Sudentf and alumni paehed the Jtandy of the Cal-Hi ftadium where the Spartanx met the La Mirada Matadorf for the fifth annual Homecoming game of Sierra High Sehool. At the half time fhow the queen and her eourt walked with their efeortf down the renter of the field and Jtood hefore the audienee af the hand played Younger Than Springtime. HAPPINESS IS A DANCE . . . 10:00 P.M. Following the game, the Aetiuitief Cluh Jponiored a dance in the Boyf' Gym, where hoth alumni and .rtudentr had a hetter ehanfe to meet the Queen and her eourt and renew old aeauaintantef. Thif informal gathering was the perfect eonelufion to a perfeet day.
