From the summer day when The editor begins to plan The book's contents, until The following June day when The books are dis- tributed to The students, production is a conglomeration of fun, hard work and ultimately, success. As The seventh year of work on The annual comes to an end, I wan-T to take This opportunity to thank The many teachers, administrators, stu- dents, and interested citizens who donated Their Time and talents to The creation of The T963-T964 Oracle. Mr. Roger Weeks, Mr. Orville McClellan, and Mr. Robert Wolstroncroft have all shown great interest in The yearbook and have helped us tremendously with Their advice. Mr. Peter De Vries and Mrs. Cecilia Throp must be thanked especially for The information They contributed and The Time They spent in helping us to solve The myriad of small problems which arise Throughout The year. I would further like To thank all The department chairmen, who submitted To The rigors of undergoing interviews by our copy staff, and The coaching staffs who gave of Their Time for team pictures and interviews. Miss Marilyn Kahl and Mr. Seldon Cummings gave The copy staff valuable aid. Mrs. Frances Heussenstamm spent many hours helping The art staff. Mr. Paul Lugo showed great patience and understanding in assisting our photographers. I would like to Thank Them together with The many teachers who graciously excused staff members from Their classes To work on The book aT Those Times when deadlines were especially pressing. The librarian, Mrs. Imogene Forker deserves a special commendation for The Time she spent aiding, us in various Types of research. Mrs. Ruth Hughes, The school nurse, graciously loaned us The time-stamp machine from The health office to ex- pedite The orderly execution of club pictures. The A.S.B., class, and Girl's League officers deserve a greatful thank you for The assistance They gave us. Thanks also to Paul Kraus for-his art work, to Lance Lawson, Richard Seeley, and Leon Grannis for Their pictures, and to Nikki Decker, Scott Piering, John Thelin, Paul Thomson, and Don Thornburg for Their assistance in writing copy. Last, of course, I want to Thank all The off campus people who have been of assistance. Watson's Studios have lived up to The highest standards of photography in shooting this year's advertisement pictures, senior pictures, and special portraits. Mr. Robert Watson, and his staff, especially Mr. Paul Morris, and Mr. Bob Marlin must be commended for their high quality work. The Taylor Publishing Company did a fine iob in printing the book. The S. K. Smith Company has accomplished a marvelous feat in the manufacture of This year's Oracle cover.
