Welcome: M11 Week ! ,Mmp,,.,,,-Nnqf' Mr Weeks extends a warm friendly smule to everyone who vnslts hls office September T963 wuth Its new teachers courses and freshmen also brought to Slerra a new chlef administrator Mr Roger C Weeks Mr Weeks came to Sierra wlth eight years experlence as prlncnpal of El Rancho Hugh School and one year as organlzlng prlnclpal at Monte Vlsta Except for a short term In the Navy he has been In the Whrttler Unlon Hugh School Dlstrrct since T942 Before entenng admnnlstratlve work he taught such varied classes as English social studles mathematlcs athletlcs publlcatvons drama and musnc In addltlon to hls heavy schedule of admlnlstratnve dutnes Mr Weeks ns stall a student hxmself He has already recerved hrs Master s Degree and IS presently worklng on hls Ph D at Claremont Graduate School He IS also a full commander In the Unlted States Naval Reserve Mr Weeks possesses a deep desire to know personally and glve asslstance to each young person at Slerra He has not remauned a stranger to the students but IS frequently seen throughout the Spartan campus vrsntung classrooms ath letlc events club meetings and other school sponsored functuons Has confidence In each student as an lndlvldual has Inspired all of the Student Body to work toward bugger and better thungs ln a relatively short tnme Mr Weeks has be come such an accepted part of our school famuly that we feel he has always been a part of Slerra In many cases one forgets to adequately thank someone whom they can always rely upon Thus we would like to take thus opportunnty to say Welcome Mr Weeks and to express how proud we are to have you head our staff Ml?
