Classes in Senior Problems find debate and discussion a valuable aid to VF' ENGLISH-I Preparing the seniors of Sierra High School to assume the responsibilities of intel- ligent, informed citizenship is a prime concern of both Senior English and Senior Problems. Senior Problems teaches the workings of the government at the local, state and national level. It also shows the student how to be wise in his role as a consumer, and to cope with the problems which may face him in marriage and family life. The basic skills of reading, writing, and spelling are also stressed in the English section of the course.
