The iob ot the district administrators is to 1 carry out the many policies of the Board of Trustees. These take in everything that has to do with building, maintenance, curriculum, staffing, and supplies. This year, besides the task of keeping the existing schools running smoothly, the adminis- trators were busy with the many problems in- volved in the opening of a new high school. Mr. Douglas Ferguson, President bf l-'V' 'Sanur BO!-XRD OF T RUST EES The responsibility of preparing the nation's greatest resource - her youth, rests in the va- rious School Boards throughout the nation. The Whittier Union High School District is guided by a Board of Trustees composed of five members, who are elected for a three year term. The Board of Trustees is the link between the taxpayers, who elect them, and the people whom the board appoints to operate the schools. This dedicated group works many extra hours and regularly devotes every other Thursday eve- ning to the task of keeping our schools provided with the finest educational opportunities with the money available.
