Self-government is a necessary training in a democracy. Here student representatives discuss and solve the problems of student government at a Stuzient Council meeting. Possessing neither stern expressions nor square jaws, the senior members of the auxiliary hall guards prove that they do mean business. Our student government stands for self- discipline. It promotes a high degree of co- operation between students and faculty. It also provides opportunities for potential lead- ers. Through our Student Council, we help share With the faculty the responsibilities of high school government, and thus are able to voice opinions on different questions. To foster student-body interest cmd parti- cipation in the Student Council cm assembly was presented, freshmen met their Big Sisters seniors were introduced to college life, and the student body enjoyed Starlight Enchantment. The officers of the Student Council Rosemaree Vitaccc Kay Moore, Kay Keogh, Ann Marie Tripoli and Iud Griffin, pose with their escorts beneath the clouds Starlight Enchantment.
