Jufure Nancy Byrne keeps her eyes atten- tively on her typing book as she tries to improve her typing speed on the electric typewriter. Pat Maloney uses the comptometer in solving her prob- lem, while Barbara Ahlgren uses the adding machine to find the balance on her journal. Karen Dorsch, Pat Hughes and Angela Fontana look pleased with reproductions from the new mimeogruph machine. Practice, practice, practice makes those shorthand outlines perfect and time tests increase the shorthand speed of these would-be stenographers.
