Marlys Schukies, Editor. Editorial Staff: Diane Schiff, typist: Kathy Kall, assistant editor: Ann Donnelly, assistant: Marlys Schukies, editor: Rosemary Fraser, man- aging editor, Mary Io Rossi, assistant: Mary Ioan Cencig, assistant photographer: Mary Ann Montoscuro, copy editor. L IENAN Siena is the most pictureftakingest institution l have ever been in! These are the famous last Words of Father l-laubold referring, of course, to the SIENAN. The presses have now ceased rolling, and we can sit back and relax. ln the beginning of the year we started shutter-bugging, making layouts and rocking our brains in an attempt to make the best SlENAN yet. We have added more pages but re- tained the cover of the preceding year as the trade- mark of the SHENAN. inspiration for copy sometimes happened in a chance remark, yet there were many times when thoughts were hard to find, Our patient moderator, Sister Mary Marietta, often became dubious as to Whether anything would materialize, but we finally came through. Who wouldnt with that versitile, persistent Editor Marlys Schukies! l'Egads and little parakeetsf' was the frustrated cry often sounded by our editor as she looked for a mislaid pencil or at the hands of the clock speeding toward five. There were sacrifices made of time, patience, and energy. ln spite of the many obstacles, disagree- ments and utter confusion, or maybe because of them, we offer to you the fruit of our labors and hope that it brings as much enjoyment in its reading as it has in its creating, We thank the patient parents who heated cold suppers and put up with our late hours. The business staff, headed by Patricia Conroy and Mary Pat Ioy, was the group that ran from room to room collecting the money for our literary endeavor. Mmm. So that's what happened to all the money.
