Charles, adviser. ouncil Sponsors Many rojects The meeting will please come to order! Phil Valentine presides at a student council session. Council members are Diane Sheldon, Jerry Allen, Steve Potter, Don Thompson, Jim Friend, Phil Valentine, lllr. Charles, Adviserg Cathy Tremain, Almeda White, Jerry Anthony, Judy Freistuhler and Susan Blake. During the year the student council undertakes many projects. Some of them are pre-sale of tickets before each foot- ball and basketball game, setting up of the fire-drill schedule, and the sponsor- ing of a Better Citizenship Campaignf' The two main projects are the hiring of outside talent for assembly programs and the printing of the handbook. So that each student can feel that he has a part in the Student Council projects, the council asks for a pledge to help finance their activities.
