Here We Don Roman andals Amo, amas, amat. What does this mean? Inter Nos members know because they all are taking Latin. The club, composed of second- year Latin students, is sponsored by Miss Emma Pfeifer. Its purpose is furthering the knowledge of Latin outside of class. On a night in March members turned time back to the days of ancient Rome. The evening was spent in dining and entertainment similar to the way of Romans. This project is financed by the sale of doughnuts the second and fourth Thursdays of each month after school. Another way of learning more about Latin was the Roman Games, a picnic, which was held at Roadside. Members participated in wrestling, boxing, and other Roman sports. The club meets every third Thursday, then they show slides, hear reports on Roman life and customs, give plays, and enjoy various other pro- grams. It is also the custom for the outgoing mem- bers to leave something to benefit the club. In the past years a projector, slides, and books have been left as memorials. ROME SHALL RISE AGAIN . . .
