The size of graduating classes shows one of the biggest changes. The class of 1903, for instance, had 21 members. It was about one seventh of the size of the class of '54. Many committees are needed to carry on the activities of a class this size. Some of these are banquet committee: Sam Bender, chair- man, Ida Cunningham, Berniece Mitchell, Ianet Hahn, Rhonda Maxon, and Pat Long: caps and gowns: Marcia McVay, chairman, Roger Stevenson, Sandra Spinner, Terry Shatto, Ian- ice Leady, and Gary Van Fossen: childen's home party: Marjorie Biake, chairman, George Kookootsedes, Io Bowen, Tom Applegate, Mar- tha Ellerman, and Patsy Hatcher. Class colors committee: Shelby lean Ha- zel, chairman, Patty Bertsch, Carol McKnight, Phil Veith, Ronnie Moore, and Sylvia Stockton: class memorial: Ierry Blake, chairman, Phyllis Libbee, Tom Dunnavant, Norma Martin, lim Verdier, and Iudy Vordemark: flower com- mittee: Nancy Kaylor, chairman, Bill Bond, Hazel Surber, Carol Carey, Marilyn Moore, and Hank Boller. Three other people, Marcia McVay, Ierry Blake, and Roger Stevenson, have done cr lot to help the school and class by serving on the student council. Yes, as the years roll by, many things change, but the pleasant memories the seniors of '54 take with them will never change.
