S Football Mothers Club oi SHS poses tor a few seconds during their meetinq to plan the annual sprinq kick-oii banquet Students wait in line in the gym- nasium to cast their ballots iv the school's Presidential Election Wlnmis, W1m,c,'Un1',afm, 9 ' Included in the activities around Sidney High are the Football Mothers' Club and the school elections. The Mothers' Club spends many precious hours each year preparing food to sell at football games, to feed boys before and after games, and to furnish supper for the basketball team on league game nights. In addition to all this, they find time to sponsor an after-season Football Banquet and a spring Kick-oft Banquet. The busy clock at Sidney High yielded time this year for an all-school presidential election. The Board of Elections, composed of the senior class officers under the guidance of Miss Owens, set up voting precincts in both gyms and the library. The election re- sults nearly coincided with those of the November elections. UhlI11i1I1,S Department Store 19
