Miss Mary E. English, Instructor of Music, Potsdam State Teachers College, is guest conductor of the A11 State Chorus. Students chosen from the music departments of schools within a 100 mile radius of Sidney participate in this chorus. Szklney If Host to CSILLING the air with sweet tones of harmony, the band and glee club of SCHS spend many periods a week perfecting their ability. Several members of glee club and band were chosen to attend the ALL-STATE Music Festival. Sidney, this year, had the honor of being host to this group. Guest conductors were music instructors of the Potsdam State Teachers College, Music Department. 2111! Stamp' CHE hard working organizations participate in Spring Festival, League Festival and the main event,which they all work for, Contest. From the efforts put forth last year the results were, a B rating for the band and an A rating for the glee club. The band, under the di- rection of Mr. Clark, also articipates in many parades during the year inciiuding Memorial Day, Pep Rallies, football games ancl Halloween.
