O keep farm implements in good repair a farmer must have knowledge of welding and other machine shop techniques. The F.F.A. welds and repairs animal cages. .F.A. has been doing two big proi- ects. They completed a feed cart for Mr. Frank Stull of Sidney Center and for Dale Mott of Masonville. Cost was less than the regular market price. Also the club has developed an unique test bottle agitator. This was made from scrap materials and equals a ninety one dollar apparatus. The purpose of making this was to save time in testing milk. Homemaking is an important and worthwhile subiect in school. It promotes better cooks and housewives. The homemaking club is an activity open to all girls taking this subiect and is under the direction of Miss Kathryne Spencer. At Christmas time the girls designed com lete doll outfits which they donated to needy chiladren. Presents were exchanged ata party. The future homemakers also correspond with pen pals in Europe.

NSEMBLE meets Monday nights 'purely for enioyment. The girls meet at 6:30 and the boys at 7:15. Sometimes they combine their talents. The first activity for the boys' ensemble was singing at the Internation- al Party. This was part of the program to entertain the foreign students from Cornell who were here over the Thanks- giving vacation. Weird fzguref haunt Nite-0-Fun. Man from Mars V14 iw Tl TRANGE things are happening in town tonight. Witches, goblins, ghosts, and wierd figures march the streets. You see, tonight is Halloweenl The Nite'O Fun starts with a big parade and then the prizes for costumes, floats and decorated bicycles are awarded at the high school. Later there is a talent show with school students taking part. Then the witches, ghosts and goblins mysteriously disappear into the darkness of night until next year. Hopeful contestants are iudged.
