JUNIOR HISTORY Weie you one of the proud parents, student, friend or other interested spectator who filled the auditorium one Tuesday morning three years ago ? It was a happy occasion for the members of this class. They had obtained the honor of being the nrst class to receive their diplomas as graduates from Sidney Junior High School. It was a group of bashful, inexperienced girls and boys who humbly received their hard-earned diplomas and took over the responsibilities of the sophomore class. As sophomores we dropped our restraint and began to show possibilities of an excellent class. Financial matters did not concern us greatly but parties and picnics afforded us much enjoyment. On the whole, our sophomore year was a success. lContinuo-d on Page 5631 l29l

SOPHOMORE HISTORY To write a history of the Sophomore class of 1934 in detail would H F'-'U be difficult for me and tiresome for you. Therefore I will make it as - brief as possible. To begin with we have used every oppoitunity offered for - - entertainment, having enjoyed a Halloween. Christmas and a Valentine party, all of which were entirely successful. The members of our class occupy two homerooms, a fact which I makes necessary two staffs of ollicers and two advisers. The advisers are Miss Herkstroter and Miss Goodale. The oliicers are as follows: Presidents-William Bure, Florence MacDonald Vice-Presidents-Annis Johnson, Jean Pittet Secretary-Treasurer-Neilie Gray, Virginia Hancock We have as yet accomplished little financially, but when we are --1 ' r juniors, all I shall say is. Just watch our smoke I Jeanne Clements. l31l
