It was a happy occasion for the members of this class. They had obtained the honor of being the nrst class to receive their diplomas as graduates from Sidney Junior High School. It was a group of bashful, inexperienced girls and boys who humbly received their hard-earned diplomas and took over the responsibilities of the sophomore class. As sophomores we dropped our restraint and began to show possibilities of an excellent class. Financial matters did not concern us greatly but parties and picnics afforded us much enjoyment.
