ART Do Your Own Thing! Students can express themselves and “do their own thing” in any of the art classes offered at Sibley. Paintings, drawings, and sculptures created in art class are displayed throughout the school. Art class is an easy class for some and a serious class for those who plan to go into such a creative profession. Mr. Bollman explains that grading an art project is very difficult and one is graded on effort and involvement as well as the quality of the piece. ‘‘There’s always some kind of assignment and the kids have room to do their own art within the assignment,” explains Mr. Bollman. 1 — M.
