This is the first year for a cross country ski team, and LaVerna Wharam, a member of the team, said that is was a good experience. “It was what you made it to be. You were supposed to practice everyday, but if you didn’t come, you weren't kicked off the team.” Originally there were 13 members, but the team ended up being 5 strong. For 2 hours a day, the team worked out on weights and skied on school property.
