CLASS HISTORY Since we first started our climb upward through high school, 'To be or not to be' has always been our question Bewilderment, heartbreak, Joy, turmoil, and teachers' nervous frustrations have left us a multl tude of sad and fond memories of the first part of our life work We say first because although we graduate this year, we still have far to go ln this world to achieve our aims Even the years ahead cannot make us forget our Freshman year, when we all felt so big to be on the top floor To be sure, we won't forget our flrst at tempt to put on a movie and dance Although it was a financial 'flop,W it had its benefits because then we felt that we were self providing people of the world Needless to say, our Sophomore year brought us back to ou senses After this rude awakening we struggled through World History Still there was time for play Ye successfully sponsored a movie, dance, and skit We might add that lt was at this time that we girls started feeling that boys weren't so bad after all fincidentally, they began to tolerate us, tool Toward the end of our Sophomore year we began looking forward to next year's JUDIOI Prom Ne were sure that ours years Qwe still think lt was! Never to be forgotten were the hours of prepara tion for the Prom, especially the evenlngs we got to gether to make flowers Knot saylng how much was accom plishedl After the 'hub bubn of the Prom and the ten weeks' vacation, we returned with the realization that 'this was itn our Senior year Do or die, we began our struggle Here we were seniors, and finally receiving those awed glances from the lower grades Cnor was it so long ago that we did the samel That sweet tradition of a tr1p to Washing ton loomed before us with all its promises of Pullman cars, hotel rooms and new friends Since the eighth grade we had saved for this, now began our last fever ish enterprises for increasing our funds The talents of the Senior Class were employed in the hilarious production of 'Good Night Ladies ' we must break in now to recall the attractions between the opposite sexes which started in the Sophomore Class By this time they had blossomed into full grown infatuatfons, . . N would be the most terrific one Shrub Oak had seen in
