This school year has had its political his- tory also. As the nation changed its ad- ministration, we inaugurated the Student Council. Never has Shrine known any- thing like our campaign. It moved in fast furious pace with good-natured rivalry and fun. Blue and gold signs covered the walls and each party tried to outdo the other. Tension mounted as each can- didate made his promises and pledged his loyalty to the students. At the polls, we found that there was gold in them thar hills. Busily preparing campaign publicity
