Mrs. Dawson To build a foundation upon which the Freshmen may carry on class meetings by parliamentary procedure, to organize an execu- tive board which will prepare material for meetings and in general to promote a friendly feeling among members of the class are the aims of these young people. FRESHMAN CHOIR Adviser Mrs. Kathleen V. Viscardi Because the Glee Club outgrew itself in size, Mrs. Viscardi, this year, decided to introduce the idea of a Freshman Choir. SENIOR CHOIR Aflz'z'.w'r Mrs. Kathleen V. Yiscardi Stress on blending of voices, sight reading, and interpretation are the aims of the Senior Choir. This year they sang at Christ- mas assemblies, the P. T. A. program at the Coolidge School, the Spring Concert, a Music festival, and the Class Day and Gradua- tion programs. A few of the Senior Choir members held leading roles in the operetta sponsored by the Glee Club. Sincere appreciation was extended to the group for helping to make the performance a success. ORCHESTRA Adz'z'scr Mrs. Kathleen V. Viscardi The high school orchestra. under the able leadership of Mrs. Kathleen Viscardi, has met once a week for practice. It is a very popular organization, being required to play at all school func- tions, such as Parent Teacher Association meetings: Christmas programs, National Honor Society Installation: the Spring Con- cert, which this year was The Gypsy Troubador : Memorial Day exercisesg and last but not least, Class Day and Graduation exercises. 49
