7lma9a-ar, Smam Methodist Church-High School Mr. Barrett suggested that we write to all of the county superintendents and find out how many schools practice a Thanksgiving Program. The typing students wrote the eighty-eight letters to the different county superintendents. We received answers from sixty-eight different counties. About twenty counties were delinquent in answering. The results are as follows: Forty-seven counties have no program at all. A few do have itg two schools have the Bible taught in classes. The rest of the schools either have assembly programs or they invite ministers to come and speak. Shreve goes to different churches, which vary for the classes each year. Each class presents a number which is different from the others. The minister of his respective church gives about a twenty minute talk. The program usually lasts about one hour and a half.
