The SENIOR BAND Although there are no trrps rn store for the Band thrs year as formerly there IS a possrbrhty of havmg 1udges come to the school ln th1s way the flavor of competrtron rs not lost Under the capable drrectlon of Mr Edward T1rnbrell the Band has pursu ed 1ts polrcy of a concert a month The Band held a 1OlUl concert wrth the Chorus rn the Sprmg and the Band also gave a Vtctory concert consrstmg mostly of marches and SGFVICG songs At the Vrctory concert a War Bond raffle was held to help boost Shortsvllle s Red Cross quota Th1s Sprmg twelve new members Jomed the Senror Band after prehmrn ary tra1n1ng ln the Iun1or Band The Band w1ll lose fourteen members when ter members hav1ng been wlth the Band smce tts formatlon 1D l935 Wrthout the efforts of the Band Boosters the Board of Educatron and Mr 'l'1mbrell the Band would be unable to functlon To them the Band extend ts heartrest thanks E2 fxi the Senior Class graduates.
