H. S. pupils at heart. Two song festivals were held in the school auditorium and the profits were generously given for dental work necessary to the pu- pils of the school. In addition, many pairs of needed glasses were provided and some clothing was furnished. The executive committee of the Lions Club is composed of: A. M. Bennett, pres- identg Dr. M, R. French Ill classes and a few from the French l class. The Club has been of great value to all, for it gives the members a cultural background for the study of French and a knowledge of many French cus- projects. which embraced block prints, waste-baskets, telephone screens, leather. metal. and batik. It was formed to give a more thorough know- ledge of the radio and the ether space. The mem- bers have shown great interest in learning the Con- tinental telegraph code and many facts about radio. At the third meeting, the following ollicers were elected: Guy Turner, president: Raymond Hall, sec- retary and treasurer. A definite schedule was formed in accordance with which the meetings were held. To aid the Boy Scouts in the Club's roll, Mr. Bowman prepared definite assignments to meet the requirements of the radio merit badge.
