everal Foreign Countries Studied While Boniour, Guten Tag, Buenos Dias, alpha, beta, gamma, or nominative genitive, dative, and accusative may greet the person who walks down the language corridor at Shortridge. This year extra classes were created to meet the greater demand for the five lan- guages offered. With the aid of the library, the de- partment obtained more supplementary reading. An overhead proiector, sets of tapes, records, and filmstrips assisted daily class drill, writing, and reading. This year's representatives abroad were Holly Carroll and Jan Clark, both of whom spent two months in St. Brieuc, France, and Pat Forbes, who went to Krefield, Germany. Attending a two-week Latin conference at Indiana University were Jeff Holmgren and Stuart Miller. RIGHT- Peace Through Understanding marks the car in which the AFS Student Ransi Senan- ayake rides.
