vzriecz' Subjects, Well-Equgbped Classrooms Upper-Public speakers gain poise. Lower-Butterflies and beetles are added to bug hunters' collections. As classes assumed a somewhat normal routine, public speaking students could be found dis- cussing world problems, eulogizing famous per- sons, and demonstrating the finer points of play- ing chess. Budding biologists did their home- work outdoors as they frantically searched for unusual bugs and leaves. The library was a popular place during study periods as students made good use of its 23,400 volumes. Along with these events, there were students of government and problems taking study trips, chemists pre- paring mercuric oxide, and many typists missing numerous keys. Truly, classes at 34th and Me- ridian were in full swing.

N mar Chem labs are mystical places for the uninformed. Fall classes started with a. bang as students scurried around filling out form 23's, making necessary program changes. and adjusting to new teachers. The bewildered freshies thought their new life was wonderful, but confusing, and upperclassmen were happy to be back in the center of activity. Classes Are the enter 0 Une Learning
