The Home Economics Department has two divisions: foods and clo- thing. The foods courses are de- signed to teach correct methods of preparing and serving nutrit- ious meals. The more advanced foods classes serve luncheons and Home Economics teas, and study foreign cooking. The girls enrolled in clothing make whatever is needed in their wardrobes. They study materials and learn how to become better buyers. The study of color com- binations and styles is also in- cluded. The aim of the department is to train girls to be good home- makers, and to study vocations growing out of training and in- terest in home economics.
