Social Service The Social Service aids students in making personal adjustments both at school and at home. Through scholarships and through jobs stu- dents are able to get the most pos sible from their education The Parent Teacher Association pro vides a fund from which books and other necessities are purchased for students If needed lunch and car fare money can be obtained from this fund Guldance The Guidance Department 1S as 1m portant to the students as the coach 1S to the football team The ad v1se1s know each student personally and help them with their perplex ing high school problems in addi tion to preparing them for college or their chosen profession These hard Working advisers hold at least two conferences per semester with each student and they then compile permanent records which are tiled in the main olice Social serxice workers are Mrs Helen Carolyn Raker and Dorothy Poindexter In the guidance department are Miss Ruth Lewman Mrs Nell M Th mas Don Knight Claude NI Keesling Ken neth Peterman and Miss Dorothy Dipple fNIlSS Dorothy Peterson is not picturedj Dr Hull discusses school affairs with Dor Gilmore Portia Hurd Janet Pol son and Don Nlosm an Page 13 P.
