The club is a chapter of the Girls, Athletic Association of Indiana. To become a member a girl is required to have from 250 to 500 points in various extra-curricular sports. Five hundred points are need- ed for membership, and 250 points are needed to become a candidate. Mrs. Mary Treichler is sponsor. It is one of several groups of the Camp Fire Girls. An all-city meeting is held once a month. They prepared sixty dozen cookies for the U.S.O. at the home of their sponsor, Miss Louise Reiter. The cookies were taken to the Union Station Service Center. EDM lue Club May I help you? is the motto of the Big Sisters, who greet incoming freshmen and show them around school. The group also sponsors a mixer each semester for students new to the school. A dinner party was held February 21, in honor of Mrs. Della Thompson, retired sponsor. After addressing the group, Mrs. Thompson was presented with a token of appreciation. Miss Eleanor Dunlap is sponsor. fzoquis The Croquis Club, sponsored by Miss Jane Messick, celebrated its eighth anniversary this year. Meetings for the fifty member.s are held on alternate Thursdays in room 317. Club activities have centered around trips to the John Herron Art Institute and Indiana Ar- tists' Exhibitions, meetings at which films were shown and lectures given by several professional artists, and two parties for new members. git! Scouts L-.gilt Hi Tri girls are junior members of the Y.W.C.A. and have an opportun- ity to use the facilities of the cen- tral Y.W.C.A. World Good Fellowship week was observed from November 11 to 17, during which time five Hi Tri girls attended meetings of all the high school Hi Tri clubs. Erma- jean Krampe and Marian Myer at- tended an All-City Inter Club Coun- cil meeting held the iirst of the year. Miss Dale Waterbury is sponsor. At monthly meetings, mem- bers have had several interesting speakers who told of their exper- iences in South America. At the Christmas party a nativity play was given.
