Though the entire student body is enrolled in the Association, its work is directed b - a group of students known as the cabinet . The presidents of the denominational groups are e - officio members of the cabinet. S. C. A. sponsors a variety of activities, including the Daily Alorn- ing Watch, the Tuesday evening or Mid-Week Worship Service, Sunday Vespers, and Thought for the Day. In an effort to make religion practical, we endeavor to sponsor some form of social service, both at home and abroad. In the fall the Hallowe ' en Carnival pro- ceeds are used to fill Thanksgiving baskets and to give other prac- tical aid to needy families of Rome. The association contributes to the World Student Service Fund, the Foster Parents Plan and to work toward a world Christian communit -. Our specific purpose is for everv Shorter girl to realize a full and creative life through a growing knowledge of God.
