Shorter graduates are prepared to fill their places in either peace or war. They are not only ready to give, but they have something to give! In this year of 1942-1943 the girls who have gone out from Shorter are making a real contribution to their country in a time of world struggle. THE PRESIDENT AND THE DEMS TO THE SENIOR CLASS: It will be your privilege more than that of any other class graduating from Shorter College in the last twenty-five years to make your education effective because of a world at war. Also, in the post-war world you will be expected to give direc- tion to the community life in which you will live.
