THE PRESIDENT AND THE DEMS TO THE SENIOR CLASS: It will be your privilege more than that of any other class graduating from Shorter College in the last twenty-five years to make your education effective because of a world at war. Also, in the post-war world you will be expected to give direc- tion to the community life in which you will live. I have every confidence in your ability to meet the demands which will be made on you as college women. And this personal word.
