In behalf of the college may I bring you sincere congratulations. May your diploma be a constant reminder to you of the friendships you have formed, of the rewards of scholarship, of the defeats which you have mastered, of your ability to discern true values, and of your acquired right to be constructive leaders in whatever community you may live. Four years ago we came to Shorter. It has been a pleasure to watch the development of the college and the members of the class during this period of time.
