To an E venm g St ar When on earth the light begins to fade, And all the western sky, with varied tints, Uplifts man ' s soul, all earthly cares are laid Aside, this beauty to enjoy. These glints Delight the eye and fill the soul with rest And peace, jet they do gently disappear.
