But, alas! like all things earthly, they must pass away. Not wishing to let the delightful inci- dents and pleasant occurrences of the year nineteen hun- dred and eleven fade into oblivion, we have labored to issue this volume, that we who have shared in these pleasures may keep them ever fresh in our memories, and who have not been participants may get a glimpse of our and live with us for a time in the Land of Yesterday. We into this our very best labor and talent, and we hope that you render criticism more severe than our own, which is : Haec nos noz ' imits esse nihil. 10
