Vocational Courses Offer Training The business education, home economics and industrial arts departments offer Shoreline students a variety of areas of study for professional application or vocational specialization following high school. The aim of the home economics department is to prepare young women with practical experience for future living. The curriculum includes an expanded program of foods, clothing, home management and family relations. The business education department offers fundamental business courses in which students may specialize after graduation. An essential part of the program offered is practical experience. In the area of distributive education, students work in local stores to learn valuable on-the- job business techniques. Courses in auto mechanics, radio electronics and technical drawing are offered by the industrial arts department.
