Mitch Stephens, yet another victim of overexcited Scots. Now just what is Regan lasper wear- ing under that sheet? 4 Opening A Shot of Spirit hy did we body- p a s s fe l l o w members of our stu- dent body during those friendly games of Shorecrest football, anyway? Of course it was purely spirit-oriented. The fans saw players passing the ball, so in turn, they in- stinctively found a small underclassmen to toss around. It was audience, or rather, student body par- ticipation, that ran rampant through the young minds of Shorecrest. SPIRIT! SPIRIT! SPIRIT! It was heard and it was seen and we knew it. In fact, this year was so full of high spirited assemblies, sports matches, and other ac- tivities, that it seemed as if Shorecrest was just like one enormous NoDoze.

Classes: Work or Pla ? 6 Opening he bell rings, Ding Ding... Ding... ,and to your dismay, it's another tardy, dude. Two veg familiar sounds, DING an TARRDEEE, were a pro- minent part of many Scots' days. At least we knew these sounds designated that a class had begun. And begun it had, as teachers taught and students did whatever students weren't supposed to do. So what went on within the confines of the mauve walls and carpeted floors, anyway? Well, it was a long story, so we whipped out a shortened version for you, just like Cliff's Notes: Sit, Yawn, Talk, Write, Listen Read Stare Think I , , , Sleep, Sharpen Pencil, Take Test, Watch Filmstrip, Raise Hand, Erase Mistakes, Finish Assignments, Watch Clock. Sure we went through days of this vi orous routine, and it paid oi too, because we not only sharpened our social skil s, but we also im roved our ability to sleep through an entire class. Eric Troll and ian Ross, future mad scientists, concoct love potions in Patty's Chem class.
