HIGH TWIST 51.4 This was the first year for the Scots to have a C team, mainly because of the change of status from AA to AAA. They gained valuable experience in the five tour- naments that they attended. Coach Inaba liked this newest part of the team because it will help the pro- gram in the future. The good attitudes on the team helped to strengthen it. We look for- ward to seeing these aspiring young men in the years to come. Sterling Richardson hard at work. . This years wrestling team was not successful win-loss wise, but showed signs of improvement throughout the season for building a good foundation for the future. 200 Closing ou woke up in the morning with a horrible sensation that it was a Monday, and it was. So, you dragged yourself out of bed and said, lf l'm gonna have a bad day, I might as well spend it at school. And off you went like the wild and crazy high school student you were, eagerly in search of higher educa- tion and a better social life. But once you got to school, the images that Monday mornings brought came back into focus in your mind. The 7:40 three- note-chime tolled and fatigue had set in. Yes, and this was only first period. lt was just too hard to learn anything with an atten- tion span of a one year old, but, no need to fret. Your pursuit of higher education seemed to have failed, but you still had the social aspect of school to fall back on. At lunch, you spotted a special someone across the crowded lunchroom and you were determined to find out if he or she was the one for you. You glanced at this person and eye contact was achieved. A smile formed across both your facesg maybe this wasn't such a bad day after all. But of course, bad days can become good and good ones can go sour, you soon discover that special someone goes off hand in hand with someone other than you. No problem, you pulled yourself back together and went on as usual, because good and bad experiences were a part of EVERY day, looking back on the Shorecrest Experience, 87-88 version, we can see that with all the hard work, we made it Back in the Highlife with humor, friendship, and good times.
