This years wrestling team was not successful win-loss wise, but showed signs of improvement throughout the season for building a good foundation for the future. Mr. Inaba was very pleased with the great number of people who turned out this year, starting with 71 bodies and ending up with 46 hard core wrestlers. The team gained great mental and physical toughness, stated jeremy Alcantara. Indeed, most of the team was made of Freshmen and Sophomores, insuring agood, strong squad for the next few seasons. HIGH TWIST 51.4 This was the first year for the Scots to have a C team, mainly because of the change of status from AA to AAA. They gained valuable experience in the five tour- naments that they attended. Coach Inaba liked this newest part of the team because it will help the pro- gram in the future.
