lt' Losing a lot of seniors off last year's squad presented a tough challenge to Coach Taloff as to what direction to take for this year's squad. Led by senior loe Rizzuto and others, the 1988 version of the Swinging Scots showed a lot of poise for a young team. Rizzuto, off to the Air Force Academy next year, summed Steve Vane stops long enough to pose at first base. As with any l.V. program, the measure of future varsity squads rests on the talent and ability each player to improve rapidly at this level.
