The Dusseldorf girls perform during the Carnival ballet. i , ll , , l. Never before had there been such a wide variety of characters seen on Shorecrest's two year old stage. Car- nival, this years fall lay, directed by Ms. johnson, showed the hard work and dedication that had been put into the production. The stage, used to full capacity with lifesize moveable wagons, suspended archways, live snakes, a sing- ing poodle, and the magnificent puppet booth, left the audience not only im- pressed, but also compelled to come back a second time, The orchestra performed over thirty- five pieces and received standing ova- tions in all four performances, The lead characters, Kristin Woorlbury, Ron Hip- pie, james Bennett, Kara Netelenbos, and Todd lacobs showed off their in- dividual talents. The Carnival heighten- ed Shorecrest's reputation as a school that produces an incredible amount of talent, Dean Colden makes a grand entry on his stilts as he returns from the Carnival ballet.
