,. L HI HLY FRUSTR TING P Melissa Woodbury and Vivian Angeles go through some old annuals looking for design ideas. Aaron Libby and Lori Cook can't seem to figure out how to load the new camera Mr. Campbell got such a great deal on, A .I A EI ...J The theme for the 1988 Loch, Back in the Highlife , was chosen with the idea that this year would be a much smoother year in terms of get- ting SC unified again, making everyone feel more like Highlanders than ever before. Editors Claudine Manio and Holly Saltkill found that trying to motivate staff members was at times frustrating. However, in the face of some killer deadlines, there were some particular standouts: Rochele Tanabe, who furnished all the art work, Gina Stroschein and Vivian Angeles, who were respon- sible for filling in all the gaps where people need- ed helpg Dawn Mooney on the computer, Lori 116 nnual Cook with photography, Sally Foster, who did the senior quotes, senior section, and copywritingg lennifer Pickard, who did copywriting and layout, Stacy Kovats, who hel ed on the computer, as well as the student HE: section, and a special recognition goes to Chris Thomas, an '87 Shorecrest grad, who did the cover photography. And always in the back round was Mr. Archer, out rep., who seemed to glue able to bail us out at deadline time. Overall, this book was done with anxiety, anger joy, happiness, laughter, tears, apprehension, and also a lot of fun. We hope you enjoy it. Editors Claudine Manio and Holly Saltkill have torr their hair out so much this year, they're surprisec they have any left ' an mv i 'NK Aaron Libby and Sally Foster are just too tired to care anymore. HIGHER CALLING 88 ASB ollit ers: President Matt Hulett, Vice-President Del Kolde, Secretary me L.iTourelle, Treasurer Clary Hintze, Parliamentarian lt-ff Linn, I - l The ASB was pretty much business as usual for SC this year, as President Matt Hulett led the student body back to a more normal existence for the first time in two years. As Shorecrest settled down, so did the students. Struggling this year as a AAA school, SC never- theless managed to hold her own, and with time, will see some great sports and academic achievements come to pass at this level.
