Thursday eve- nings spectators gathered to watch Shorecresfs wrestling team compete against other schools. The meets themselves were divided into a se- ries of individual matches in which wrestlers were classed according to their weight. In preparation for the meets the wrestlers practiced every afternoon under the guidance of Coach Gil Inaba. Anxiety over a close decision, s y m p a t h y for a straining grappler, enthusiasm for the team, all of these were part of the spirit of these meets.
