Introduction to Publications class prepares students for future work in iournalism. The typewriter key is punched with a click as a practice edi- torial is recopied for the Intro- duction to Publications class. Students in this class were shown most aspects of all the areas of iournalism to be used in school publications and, per- haps, for a career. School publications needed a coordinating body to discuss and help solve problems in- volved with production. Repre- sentatives from the Loch, Piper, and Tattoo met with advisers and the administration in the Publications Board.
