IN MEMORIAM The class of 1956 wishes to pause and recall a classmate who passed away in 1952. Those who knew Larry Spero remember him as a petit friendly chap, who could always be found with a smile on his face. Larry was enthusiastic and ambitious and would do a favor for anyone. All his classmates thought amiably of this lad and will cherish his memory through the years.

FOREWORD Our proms, our class plays, the basketball and football games, our music programs, and homework-these memories seem like yesterday. But think ahead, twenty years from now, as you thumb through these pages, you'll recall your best pals, the year the basketball team won the conference, and the people who directed your activities. What will you be then, a lawyer, a nurse, a secre- tary, or pilot? It's hard to predict, but in any case, our high school training and experiences should have taught us good citizenship and a sense of responsibility. We hope this yearbook will recall fond memories, and that even now we can realize the importance of our high school experiences as we became citizens of a community. - ,,+ U
