It was held hefore the student body and the members of the faculty acted as judges. There were nine deelzlimers and two orzltors tryii g for :1 place. The winners were: Declzunatory, lst--lluriel lXIcLzxughlin. The Confessionf' 2nd-Lucille Alessmer. Hlvladain Xfy The oratory winners were: lst-Hsupporters of Civilizationf' Raymond Steward. 2ndf Prophets Tr:1gedy,'7 Robert llliddleton. The League contest was held at Seymour, April 29. Three schools were repre- sented in the contestg Seymour, Denmark, and Shiocton. The declamatory honors were given to :-lst, Denmark, the selection HhlZ1l1C.H 2nd, Seymourg the selection Humoresque.H 3rd, Denmarkg the Selection l'Sign of the Cross.
