J New London, Blanawa, and Shioeton formed the first triangle debating February IS, l925. Shioeton winning first place and New London second. The negative team won at New London 3-ll, and the ai'iirmative at Shioeton debating against lN'Iana.wa won 2-l. Kaukauna, lierlin, Shioeton formed the second triangle. Uur negative team renirxined at hone to debate Berlin, and the Aflirinative went to Kaukauna lllarch 20, 1925. The Aliirinative team lost to liaukauna, and the negative team won from Berlin, 2-0. It was held hefore the student body and the members of the faculty acted as judges. There were nine deelzlimers and two orzltors tryii g for :1 place. The winners were: Declzunatory, lst--lluriel lXIcLzxughlin. The Confessionf' 2nd-Lucille Alessmer. Hlvladain Xfy The oratory winners were: lst-Hsupporters of Civilizationf' Raymond Steward. 2ndf Prophets Tr:1gedy,'7 Robert llliddleton. The League contest was held at Seymour, April 29. Three schools were repre- sented in the contestg Seymour, Denmark, and Shiocton. The declamatory honors were given to :-lst, Denmark, the selection HhlZ1l1C.H 2nd, Seymourg the selection Humoresque.H 3rd, Denmarkg the Selection l'Sign of the Cross.
