in u u il in in Examination Day The melancholy day is here The most dread of the year. TVhen notes and books are laid away For 'tis examination day. Those days of bluff we thought so fine Now send a shudder down our spine. TVe know now blufling doesn't pay On this examination day. Last night we crammed ,till early morn Of things they did ere we were born. YVL' proved in fifteen different ways lfor this examination day. And now the day is really here For which we thought we had no fear. TVe're wrong we find to our dismay On this examination clay Our brain onee bright--'ffthey now are dumb Our muscles active-now they are numb. All we ran do is sit and pray On this examination clay. The teaehers look so stiff and stern No help from them we quickly learn No smiles from those who once were gay On this examination day. Of all sad words of tongue or pen The saddest of these, lt might have beenu The truth ot this we're here to say On this examination day. f-E. DI. T.
