Due to the crowded program it is necessary to combine the first and second year students into one class and the third and fourth year students another class offering the subjects every second year. The Agricultural course hlls a big need in our county as a large percentage of our students COITIC from the farm expecting to go hack again as soon they complete their work. With the increased in- terest shown in the work and the quality of the projects it is hoped that we may soon be able to qualify for federal aid, coming under the Smith-Hughes law. fl e 12100 - -sinh 4 . -C3 I' VY- ggi, ,5 Stock Iudging A short time after school began this year, Mr. Kczelka called a meeting of all the students interested in stock judging work. Nine students tried out for a place on the team. About twice a week they went to different farms in the community to judge the different classes of livestock. With the use of the score cards which showed each stuclent's ability, the final selection was made. The stock judging was represented by Loyal Vogel, Oscar Romberg, and Alton Puls, with Robert Middleton as alternate. The contest was held at Green Bay, Wisccinsin, February Sth. The opponents were Marinette, Neenah and Algoma. Our team did not win the trip to Madison, but the contestants felt the practice as being Worth while, and say it will always be of value to them.
