The most pleasant occasion of the Junior year was the Junior-Senior Banquet and dance. The theme 'Mayt1me' was carried out in the decorations and program. The centerpieces were maypoles covered with pastel shades of crepe paper. The dance was held at the Clarksburg Masonic Temple which was colorfully decorated with pastel shades. Our Senior year has also added to our store of pleasant mem- ories. The president remained the same as in our Junior year. New sponsors, however, were elected. They were E. H. McClung and Evelyn Yokum with Abby Brent remaining with us. The Senior play, 'Crazy House', was given on May 2, and prov ed to be a success. Other officers are. Vice President, Clayborne Nelson, Secretary, Betty Bartlett, Treasurer, Richard Jones Although the class had been previously represented on the athletic teams, there were even more Juniors in evidence this year. In the place of Mrs Thorn as sponsor, Miss Mary Ellen Weightman was chosen, and an add itional sponsor was selected in the person of Miss Florence Sto ver. Money was raised by numerous activities to entertain the Seniors. Some of the most profitable means were selling candy, movies, programs for basketball games, magazines, dances, and others. At the end of their third year the Juniors look back and re gard their former selves with humor, and they look forward with hope and decision. Although the standards of the class of MO are high and their record excellent, we hope to outshine even them in our Sen- ior year. 22 0 . fp ua- 2 1 7' J 5 .n , ' ,4, M' rcyv Q o ' rv BETTY CAVPBELL CLAYBCRNE NELSON BETZY IMWTLETT DICK JOKES I I O O O O O e Betty Creston Joe Lovio Clarine Stone Floyd Van Meter Louise Skinner Junior Nixon Kay Brammer Charles Smith Barbara Ware John Hall Geraldine Logan Bill McDonnell Kathleen Robinson Sam Angotti Lucille Bonasso Robert Svan Daisy Del Vero Ted Spiker Evelyn Enoch Harold Metz Betty White Dominick Davoli Regina Brennan Russell McKnight Josephine Hawker Clayton Campbell Marguerite Scarcelli Billy Riley Betty Martin Steve Vennis Eloise Sturm Wanda Shanks Marjorie Pierce Mary Toth Frances T118-TP j.9!0 MSPAR 7' A N 1 4 i .U . 25 W 19,40 -f-SPAR TA N A T'-, a?'mPwm'lk Q if 24 Cleo Rife Margaret Sturm Jean Sturm Louise Herod Mary Allowatt Betty Lee Russell Louise Elyette Neva Satterfield Virginia Fortney Rose Yock Antoinette Oliver Betty Stout Coralie Tetrick Gipsy Kyre Natalie Kidd Mary Orosz Era Helmick Mary Surina Betty Watson Esther Miller Edgar Dorsey Margaret Martinez Raymond Bowman Helen Miles Paul Sweeney Dorothy Sandy Betty Bice Wanda Pickens Truman.Dav1s Helen Jean Jackson Betty Lee Shreve Lemoyne Zickefoose Mies Florence Stover Mr H P Bock V L ' ' 54.7 'V J 1 fr- ., V,k.: 3:4 ' , Af' , J 5 2 :Q 4, 1. , Y- ..'
